The Principles of Performance Leadership guide everything we do as an organisation. They are derived from the body of knowledge on business excellence, drawing on sources spanning back over at least 100 years in the evidence based and systematic study of successful businesses and other organisations, teams and individuals.

Performance Leadership is the practical realisation of Business Excellence.

We believe that they are relevant for all organisations and as such can be thought of as Fundamental Principles.

Individual members of our team have been active in the formative development of business excellence for approaching 20 years, holding positions in and continuing to supporting business excellence organisations throughout Europe and in North America, including past membership of the Executive Committee of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), Chair of the EFQM Education Committee and Jury Member for the European Postgraduate Thesis Award on a number of occasions.

Members of our team have also lead organisations to become finalists and winners in a number of National and European level quality awards including the UK, Northern Ireland, Turkish and European Award, and have helped in assessments of organisations throughout Europe against the EFQM Excellence Award, Europe's most prestigious recognition for organisational Excellence given to Europe's best performing companies and not-for-profit organisations.
